Energy Assistance
What is the Energy Assistance Package?
The Energy Assistance Package is a package of support for people worried about their fuel bills. It was introduced by the Scottish Government in April 2009 to replace the Central Heating and Warm Deal programmes and sets out to tackle fuel poverty by helping to maximise incomes, reduce fuel bills and improve the energy efficiency of homes. It is run on behalf of the Scottish Government by the Energy Savings Trust.
