Disability Services
Most Local Authorities provide a number of
services for disabled people working in partnership with other
agencies and the health service to provide a range of care to help
achieve maximum independence at home and in the community.
The range of services that can be provided includes:
- Home Care
- Day Care
- Respite Care
- Adaptations and Equipment
- Blue Badges for Disabled Parking
- Specialist Occupational Therapy Service
- Care and Repair
- Community Alarms
To access these services, contact your local Social Work Department for an Assessment of your Care Needs.
